Certified Home Energy Audit in Arizona

Home energy audit: a healthy, energy efficient home in Arizona
The majority of homes in America suffer from performance problems ranging from inflated energy consumption to poor thermal comfort to indoor air quality issues.
"If you are interested in getting specific recommendations for improving the efficiency of your home, consider contacting a professional Home Energy Auditor. A professional auditor can use a variety of techniques and equipment to determine the energy efficiency of your home. Thorough audits often use equipment such as blower doors, which measure the extent of leaks in the building envelope, and infrared cameras, which reveal hard-to-detect areas of air infiltration and missing insulation." - EPA's Energy Star.
In the past there were no standards or best practices used and hiring a contractor to identify problems and provide recommendations and solutions to fix these problems took a leap of faith on the homeowner's part.
